Upcoming Trainings and Event

Through the Roof is gearing up for excellent happenings as this winter and spring. We have several upcoming events that we want to make you aware of now and will be uploading new information frequently in the coming months. There are services, special events and training opportunities and we'd love to see you come out and join us. For more information on the trainings and services, please click on the events link to the left on this page and then click on the event you are interested in. For information on special events, click on the links of information below. November Training--Saturday, November 5th. Disability Ministry Training from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at 1st Assemby of God Church, Rolla, MO. Cost is only $10 and inlcudes your materials, lunch and snacks. If you plan on attending you must RSVP by calling the church office at (573) 364-1266 by Friday, October 28, 2011. Service--Friday, November 18-Living Hope Fellowship, Springfield, Missouri, 6 pm December Special Event--Christmas caroling-Wednesday, December 21-leaving from Living Hope Fellowship, Springfield, Missouri, at 6 pm, returning by 9pm. Service--Friday, December 30-Living Hope Fellowship, Springfield, Missouri, 6 pm 2012 January Service--Friday, January 27-Living Hope Fellowship, Springfield, Missouri, 6 pm February Training-Thursday, February 9th, 5:30 pm--Abbreviated training for the Health Ministry Network, Springfield, MO March April May Special Event--Disability Prayer Breakfast-Thursday, May 3-location TBA in Springfield, MO

Welcome to Through the Roof

If you are:

a person with a disability
a friend or family member of a person with a disability
a person working in a helping profession for those with disabilities
a person who wants to love & serve people the way Jesus does

you're in the right place!

Our goal is to see that all people -- including those with physical, mental, emotional and medical disabilities -- have a chance to know Jesus personally, to grow in their relationship with the Lord, to become a vital part of their church family, and to be empowered to serve God and others.

We seek to meet the needs of people with disabilities in sincere and practical ways. We encourage anyone interested – including those in other churches – to get involved! The need is great — but so is the opportunity! If you would like training for your group, please contact us.

Please take a few minutes to look around our site. You'll find information about monthly services, Disability Ministry training opportunities and available resources. If you would like to keep up with Through the Roof's events, please email or write us with the addresses that you'd like us to add to our mailing lists. Those on the snail mail list will receive updates about 4 or 5 times a year and those on the email lists will be updated once or twice a month. Thank you for caring for people with disabilities!
